Jennifer Lawrence flashes engagement ring at the Dior show

Leave it to Paris Fashion Week for Jennifer Lawrence to debut her gorgeous ring during her first public appearance since her engagement to Cooke Maroney.

The “Red Sparrow” actress stepped out in the City of Love to attend Dior’s Fall 2019 show, where Karlie Kloss, Olivia Palermo, Cara Delevingne and Bianca Jagger resided as her front row seat mates.

The Kentucky-born star emulated French girl style by the way of oversized sunglasses, plaid kitten heels and a conservative pleated mini dress — paired with the modernly sophisticated bucket we saw every model debut on the Dior runway.

J.Law has fronted campaigns for the French fashion house since 2012. In 2014, it was reported that she extended her contract with Dior for an additional three years for approximately $15 million in compensation. The actress has since renewed her Dior deal again — can you blame her?!

Lawrence and her 33-year-old art dealer finacé confirmed their engagement on February 5th, days after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her finger while out in New York City with Maroney.

The “One Call Away” singer seemingly confirmed his relationship on Thursday, sharing a blurry black-and-white photo of the pair with the caption “Happy Valentine’s Day.” adding a heart emoji.

Puth and Lawrence were first spotted leaving Dave Chappelle and John Mayer’s performance at a West Hollywood club in December — Lawrence’s best friend, Kaia Gerber, tagged along, too. The couple was most recently spotted out and about during New York Fashion Week, where Lawrence performed at the Diane Von Furstenberg party.

Timothée Chalamet, who made waves this year with his work in “Beautiful Boy,” humbly called this cover a “pinch-me moment.” — “Vanity Fair is an American institution, so to be in it in any capacity is an honor, but to be on the cover with actors I really admire and respect, it’s a pinch-me moment.”

Ryan Seacrest calls meeting Timothée Chalamet ‘an out-of-body experience’

Originally published on

When Ryan Seacrest isn’t live from the red carpet asking Joan Rivers’ favorite question “who are you wearing?,” he’s hosting his namesake morning radio show, co-hosting alongside Kelly Ripa in NYC and working on his mens apparel line with Macy’s.

All of which makes sense as to why he was honored with the Style Icon of the Year Award on Thursday night at the Fashion Scholarship Fund Awards dinner in New York City, where a total of $3.5 million was raised for students.

With awards season just at the outset, we can expect Seacrest to be on our television screens for the next few months. Most recently, the media mogul kicked off E!’s red carpet coverage for the Golden Globes, where Timothée Chalamet completely lost it over meeting him. When we asked Seacrest what it felt like to have America’s biggest heartthrob fanboy over him, it was safe to conclude the bromance was mutual.

“It was an out-of-body experience. I literally have watched his work, especially recently — and in ‘Beautiful Boy’ I was blown away — so I was so excited to tell him that and then he recognized me and I lost my train of thought. It was really kind, ” he told AOL.

Amid all of the Oscars drama following Kevin Hart nixing his hosting duties, Seacrest agrees that the Academy should indeed, go host-free.

“My professional opinion is we’re so close to the Oscars it would be very tough for someone to step in and feel like they’re ready.”

It’s no secret Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg are totally unexpected BFFs, but just like Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, every celebrity needs their sidekick.

AOL caught up with Martha at the 2019 Fashion Scholarship Fund in New York City, where she was honored for the Lifetime Achievement Award. The 82nd Annual scholarship Awards dinner raised $3.5 Million for Scholarships with the help of Macy’s Hal Lawton and Ryan Seacrest, who was awarded with the Style Icon award.

The domestic guru revealed the “strange” place where she rang in the New Year and what her and Snoop exchanged as holiday presents.

“He got a pressure cooker and I got some seeds,” she said laughing.  “I was in a strange place [for the New Year] — Hobart Tasmania! There was a taste of Tasmania going on and we just celebrated with friends down there in the harbor. It’s south of Australia, where koala bears, wallabies and Tasmanian devils live!”

As for what’s in store for season 3 of VH!’s “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party,” Martha didn’t give too much away but she ensured an A-list celebrity line-up.

“Its all fantastic, we have great guests and it’s going to be a lot of fun!”

Best of 2018: Our favorite Gigi Hadid sightings of the year

Originally published on

Landing her 35th Vogue cover by the age 23, there’s no doubt that Gigi Hadid is one of the most in-demand supermodels and the true definition of an “It” girl.

2018 has been a busy year for Gigi. From her major beauty collaboration with Maybelline to her final Tommy Hilfiger collection spanning across four seasons, Gigi’s world domination in the fashion space does not go unnoticed.

When she’s not walking the runway, her off-duty style is a force to be reckoned with – one that’s equally sexy as it is sporty.

There were ripped jeans, cropped hoodies, cool sneakers and everything in between, but Gigi also owned a slew of iconic catsuit moments.  Perhaps the most memorable was the time she rocked a super retro colorful Versace catsuit to the 2018 CFDA awards. After the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the blonde bombshell headed to the after party in a silver metallic catsuit featuring a matching choker, also by Versace.

Plus, we can’t forget the gold Versace mini dress she wore in April to celebrate her golden birthday for a night out in NYC.

Amal stunned in a chic black ensemble accessorized with a leopard scarf, cadet hat and left it to her shoes to make a statement. Her knee-high combat Stuart Weitzman Pippa boots featured a lace-up front and 3-inch leather block heel, edging up her entire look.

Ella and Alexander can be seen holding adorable teddy bears and both rocking mini Adidas sneakers. This marks one of the very few times that George and Amal’s twins have been seen in public.

Morgan Stewart offers her candid thoughts on ‘Thank U, Next’

Morgan Stewart doesn’t hold back.

And it’s her witty personality and hilarious one-liners that are what got her to where she is today. The former reality star turned fashion designer turned E! News correspondent is one hundred percent unapologetic.

AOL caught up with Stewart at the launch of her holiday collection for TLA by Morgan Stewart, a fashion-forward line of athleisure she’s pioneered with L.A. Collective.

“I’m someone that really only wants to dress in things that she truly, truly loves and I feel like with the athleisure wear, I just wanted to make sure that it’s representative of something that I really liked, that was high-fashion and a little bit different and you truly could wear it elsewhere or mix and match the pieces to be high-end,” she explained of her latest collection. “You know, people say that and you’re like ‘I’m never going to f–king wear that to the movies’ but TLA by Morgan Stewart you can wear to the movies — amirite!” she joked.

As the host of E!’s “Nightly Pop” and “Daily Pop”, Morgan has fully immersed herself in the land of pop culture, so naturally, we had to get her thoughts on Ariana Grande’s record-breaking “Thank U, Next” music video.

“I watched the video on the plane yesterday. I liked the video but I wasn’t that blown away by it. I loved it and I get it. I got all the references and Kris Jenner is queen – but I think we have seen too many teasers. That’s why I don’t like teasers. Like, just drop it at once so we can all get on board and be overwhelmed, but the second you try to dilute something so much, it’s like, ‘I’ve seen this already.'”

Her dream for 2019? “I want to see Kylie get married,” she says.

Michelle Obama: ‘I had never met a black dude like Barack Obama’

Originally published on

Michelle Obama got candid in a sold-out stadium filled with nearly 20,000 people at New York City’s Barclays Center on Saturday.

From the Hamilton soundtrack on repeat to special guest appearances by Faith Hill, The Root’s ‘Questlove’ and Uzo Aduba, Michelle’s “Intimate conversation” had the energy of a rock concert.

As part of her 10 city tour for her new autobiography, Becoming, the former first lady took the stage in a chic white power suit and Jimmy Choo heels and dished on everything from her early days as ‘little Meesh’ to her time at the White House. Michelle didn’t leave anything out and even accidentally let the ‘S’ bomb slip which garnered a standing ovation and cheers from the audience.

“Marriage still ain’t equal, y’all. It ain’t equal. I tell women that whole ‘you can have it all’ — mmm, nope, not at the same time, that’s a lie. It’s not always enough to lean in because that s*** doesn’t work.”

On the topic of marriage, Michelle detailed just how Barack swept her off her feet. She described how upon first meeting him, she wasn’t interested but it was his persistence that won her over.

“I had never met a black dude like Barack Obama. Not only his background and where had traveled and who is parents were and he was always very introspective and he had been a community organizer. I hadn’t met a Harvard black dude who had been a community organizer in neighborhoods on the far south side where most people in the firm didn’t know those neighborhoods, he had been all up in those neighborhoods and those churches. So he understood the community in a full way but he was not arrogant, he was humble. I also liked the way he treated others,” she told the crowd.

“What impressed me was how he treated the secretaries and the paralegals and the people in the elevator. As I got to know him I saw how he treated his sister, how he respected the strength of his mother, his relationship with his grandmother. All of that was much more appealing to me than his walk, or his look or his talk or his degrees. And sometimes we as women, miss out on good brothas’ because we are to busy looking at their stats and we’re not looking at their story. And Barack Obama’s story was all swervy and interesting and that’s what I fell in love with.”

“I wanted to know so much about one person and another thing about Barack was he wasn’t playing games. That was another appealing thing. You know the brotha’s who are like ‘yeah I want to date you but let’s figure this out and I’m not sure how I feel,’ I had done that and Barack was like ‘I am interested in you, I want to see where this goes, I want to be serious about this,’ and he took the relationship to the next level clear and focused. He was unapologetic and not worried about looking too in love. He was ready to be in love and dudes out there, that is so appealing. Having a man who is unafraid to commit to not marriage but just to you, just to explore what this will be. Not calling it anything other than what it is, which is a relationship and he embraced the relationship part of it. We both fell.”
